About the Role
Working closely with the surgeon and practice team, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and patient support, including:

• Managing a busy appointment diary and coordinating consultations
• Welcoming patients and providing a professional, friendly experience
• Answering patient enquiries by phone and email
• Managing correspondence, reports and referrals
• Coordinating theatre lists, procedures and patient bookings
• Preparing documentation and ensuring patient records are accurate and up to date
• Processing payments, invoicing and other general administrative duties
• Liaising with hospitals, referring doctors and other healthcare providers
• Supporting the surgeon with day-to-day PA and administrative requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in a specialist medical or surgical practice
• Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident dealing with patients, doctors and medical professionals
• Strong attention to detail and takes ownership of their work
• Calm and professional in a busy environment
