Our client, a well established and leading surgical practice has an opportunity for an experience Medical Secretary to support a busy surgeon. The practice is committed to providing exceptional service to their patients.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Personal Assistant and secretarial support to the surgeon
  • Scheduling patient consultations
  • Administration of the front desk and patient clinics
  • Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently
  • Patient invoicing and receipting
  • High volume dictaphone typing of reports
  • Liaising with other doctors, hospitals and medical representatives
To be successful for this role you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience in a specialist medical practice
  • Experience in BlueChip highly regarded
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with interruptions and prioritise workflow
  • Fast accurate dictaphone typing essential
  • Must be a team player
  • Sound knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Excellent knowledge of English especially grammar and spelling
